Take your game to the next level with AAU basketball. AAU is a competitive league for elementary, middle and high school athletes looking to bolster their skills and experience with the game of basketball. Players will be exposed to, running many plays, sets, and schemes that high school and even college teams run. The coaching staff is comprised of members from the BFA St Albans coaching staff, as well as former collegiate players, and other coaches passionate about the game. You can expect 2-3 practices per week, with tournaments on weekends. The season will likely go from mid-March through mid-June. Cost is yet to be solidified, as we have not decided the amount of tournaments yet, and locations, however you should anticipate around $500. This league is for 3rd - 11th grade. The amount of teams we have will depend on how many players sign up. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. We would like to keep the majority of travel tournaments toward the end of the school year, but may have a couple throughout the Spring. Tryout dates are tentatively projected for March 6th, 7th, and 8th. Players are expected to be at all days of tryouts unless communicated to the coaching staff. These dates, and times, will be solidified as we get closer to March.
